DIRK ON SAX - BIO

From the start of his DJ career, Dirk on Sax has performed across Europe. That early exposure to international audiences confirmed what he already suspected: DJ-ing was going to be full-time, permanent, non-negotiable. The first part of his career was spent playing open-format all-nighters, where a love for house music always shone through regardless of what the night opened with. The versatility built in those rooms is the foundation everything since has been built on.

Twenty-plus years later, he is still on the road, with a permanent calendar of global crowds and reasons to celebrate. His sets move between funky house, dance classics, and driving tech-house, always with a smile and uplifting vibe. Live saxophone sits on top, raw, and in the moment, impossible to fake.

Off stage, Dirk is busy has always made music, edits, and bootlegs. Every track is shaped from first note to final master. While he played all of them to numerous crowds, most of those productions never met the threshold. That changed with his debut single "Lucky Star". His productions blend house with live instrumentation, and he has is looking forward to sharing more over the coming years.

Europe has been the base so far, with South America next and wherever the dancefloor is open. His early exposure to international audiences confirmed his ambition to continue DJing full-time. This experience has enabled him to adapt to diverse audiences and settings, making each performance a unique experience.

The addition of live saxophone to his sets has been a game-changer, bringing an exciting new element to his performances. Dirk has always valued the spark that saxophonists bring to the stage, and now, he has been able to blend his love for the instrument with his DJ skills.
